It's already December, and yes A level has ended quite some time ago. (I'm sorry for the late post) Looking back, I wonder how I survived the amount of stress during that horrible period. Oh well, at least everything's over now! I've got approximately three months to enjoy before going on a long holiday to a remote island. Sun tanning, sightseeing.. Ah, aren't you jealous? (Sarcastic laugh)
Anyway, I think I should start searching for a job soon. I'm desperately short of money after all the spending last week!
On Monday after our last paper, I went to watch 2012 with Vanessa, Jityong and Clarine. The movie was okay, but I don't think the event will really happen in 2012. What do you think?
As for Tuesday, we had a birthday celebration for Val at Holland Village. Guess she enjoyed herself pretty much that day, probably because of the Naughty Drink. Hahaha.
Then it was steamboat day with Sandra! Val was sick so she had to go home halfway, leaving the two of us behind to settle our dinner. We searched around for places to eat and finally decided on Crystal Jade steamboat buffet. :D
The branch we had the buffet does not provide the free flow of Xiao Long Baos. :( So we got the meat dumpling as substitute and we ended up eating quite a number of them. The waitress even stared at us and asked me if they're that nice. -.- Shouldn't she be promoting the food instead?
The buffet is still worth it though. Urgh, MY STOMACH IS SO GROWLING NOW.
Was out with Ninet on Friday to shop for Waeting's present. Her birthday was on Saturday and we had a surprise visit at her house! :D We stayed there till evening before we had an impromptu decision to have our dinner in town. (Photos below!)

I was so surprised at the lousy service at Causeway Point's Pizza Hut today. >:( Was there with Zhenzhi and Jiongle when this freaking waitress rejected my order and asked me to call for other waitresses there. She might be busy (which did not appear so) but she could have kindly told this other waitress about us when she was talking to her right?! Worse still, nobody came to us after so long, and that was even when Jiongle's non-human long hand was raised up in the air. HAHA. In the end, we just got out of the place and went to have lunch at another place. You should have seen that lousy waitress's expression when we walked past her! HA, LOSER.
Anyway, we watched Fame after our lunch! Was looking forward to its release since some time ago. :D
The movie was quite nice overall, especially the dance and singing scenes. MOST IMPORTANTLY, KHERINGTON PAYNE WHO PLAYS ALICE IS REALLY PRETTY AND SHE SURE CAN DANCE! :D
Side Track: I'm listening to Jordin Sparks's newest album 'Battlefield' and I think the songs are not bad!

I've been thinking about this for a while, so I decided to just blog a lil bit about it.
Do you embrace change, or do you long for the past?
I guess nothing can be done to stop things from changing. People change too, and I really detest the fact that the cases I have seen did so for the worse.
A level is approaching real fast too. Ah fuck it lah. I'm not ready for it and I think my life is getting more dull and boring as the days go by. It's all about studying at this moment and I just feel so restless to even get started with it. What a systematic life we've got.
I think my mind needs a break now and I'm glad that Jason Mraz's 'Prettiest Friend' is helping me do so. Totally hooked on to the song. :)
And please Peiming, stop being a bitch just cos you don't have school tmr. Ha. Good luck for your results. |

Got the time to stay home yesterday and I spent the entire day watching two movies I downloaded. Ha. First was UP (I know I'm slow but I didn't get the chance to watch it) which I thought was not that great as what many have told me. But still, the small boy managed to crack me up quite a number of times. :D The second was The Notebook (A movie in 2004?) which is somehow similar to The Time Traveler's Wife, but I thought it's more touching, sad and real.
Went to Sandra's house with Huixian and Vinc the previous day and we watched another two movies, The Nanny Diaries and The Simpsons. Both comedy this time round! Anyway, we left for dinner after the movies and here comes my favourite food. :D:D:D
Oh yeah, Sandra's appetite was really small and she couldn't finish this big bowl of noodles. Being the nice guy, (as always) I helped her to finish and man it was damn satisfying and filling. :D While walking around to digest my food after dinner, we saw these two people wearing the exact colours as me HAHA.
We can be Puma models! HAHA. Okay Sandra's colours don't really match. As of Friday, the few of us helped Vanessa celebrate her birthday which is by right today. Happy 18th birthday Vanny!
Okay I better run. I'm meeting Sandra to watch The Ugly Truth and I'm late!

& Prelims finally ended, on a bad note that is. This period was hell torturing and I can't believe I have to go through this again for A level. Not going to comment on how horrible all the papers were. Shall see when we get back our results. *Frowns*
Anyway, during the September holiday, my family and I held a surprise party for my sister's 21st birthday. The planning and preparations started a few weeks back and we managed to keep my sister in the dark till the day itself. We bluffed her that we're dining at a hotel that night and she didn't know all of her friends and relatives were actually preparing and waiting for her. Guess the surprise went rather successful with my sis getting overwhelmed and bursting into tears. :D
This is the birthday 'cake' my eldest sister got for her and it costs more than 100 bucks. Of course I didn't help to pay that?! HAHA. But hey, the helium balloons I paid aren't cheap either.
 Getting started with the preparations.   My aunt made this flower balloon, nice huh?  Here comes the birthday girl. And since the location of the party wasn't anywhere near my house, you must be wondering how the hell we transported the balloons back. Ha. (Answer: My aunt's big van!)
 This is the result of entering the lift with that amount of balloons. And they are still much alive, occupying some space in my house now.
Oh man I'm so glad I had a good rest, like finally. Sleeping for 3-4 hours everyday for a week was totally a crazy idea. I LOVE MY BED.
& I forgot to mention that Kanye West was being a loser during the VMA. Beyonce was classy, so unlike him.

I'm so glad first week of Prelims has ended cos I'm really physically and mentally drained now. Papers were horrible and I certainly don't look forward to the remaining ones after our holiday. It's time to take a lil break for now tho! :D
Went to Jiayan's house for a short while after our paper today before catching our movies! The four of us went to the same cinema but Jiayan and Raymond watched Final Destination 4 while Vanessa and I watched The Time Traveler's Wife. Have been wanting to watch the movie quite some time ago and it turned out really good. Vanessa's tears can also prove how sad and touching it was. :)
Strongly recommend you guys to watch!
Oh yeah I just heard Carrie Underwood's new single "Cowboy Casanova" as well! Can't wait for her new album release! SO EXCITING. :D:D:D

Finally I can rest my brain off from all the rocks, rivers and non-living things which I have no idea why I'm studying them.
Today's paper was actually quite okay, but I didn't read the questions properly and missed out some stuffs I should have written. Could have done a lot better. :( Hm, so one's down and more to come. Thank God tomorrow is a holiday! There's lots of things to read up. >:(

It's Friday again, which means Prelims is nearing as well. We've got the timetable and the schedule is so tight that it's really stressing me out right now. Yes, two weeks left and I'm still not doing anything productive yet. Okay at this time I'm gonna say 'I will start studying from tomorrow onwards' and hopefully this will come true for once in a million times. Anyway after school today I rushed to meet Seb, Waeting and Ninet for lunch and we watched G.I. Joe!
Let me just share with you a conversation I heard on the bus when I'm on my way to meet them. Okay I didn't mean to eavesdrop but there were these two secondary school girls who were talking really loudly behind me. One of the girl said something and it goes like this, "I have so many people chasing after me! These people are like that, they see you chio they want you, but after some time they know they cannot make it. I'm really single and my friends just don't believe me."
HAHAHAHAHA. At that moment, I really had the urge to turn back my head to see how wonderful this girl looks but the way she talked just made me feel disgusted. AND GUESS WHAT, I saw her face when we alighted and I just went OH EMM GEE! (Obviously she's not like what she boasted) Oh man, what's wrong with people nowadays?! And again I must emphasize I'm not being a bitch here cos I JUST HAPPENED TO HEAR THEIR CONVERSATION. HAHA.
Okay back to the movie. I thought it's a thumbs up! Sienna Miller who plays Ana in the movie looks really cool and pretty. :D Can't wait for the sequel.
Alright my Mum just forced me to eat this really big apple again. She's been asking me to eat one apple everyday so that I'll be healthy. So much for the proverb, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away" huh? I'm so full. :/

I guess there is some bad virus spreading in our class. After Vera, Clarine, Colin and Jiayan, it's my turn to fall sick. :(
Oh well. Yesterday was perhaps the most miserable day for me. I was really sick the entire day and I just slept through most of the tutorials and lectures. My temperature did not stop rising and it went up to 39.1 degrees at night. The feeling was so awful, horrible and disgusting I swear I never want to experience that again. Thank god I feel better today and my temperature is back to normal. :) Anyway, I'm given 3 days MC and I can only return to school on Friday. Guess I'll miss quite alot these days! URGH, I WANT SCHOOL. I just feel different at home. :/
By the way, it's Jiayan's birthday yesterday! The class is most probably celebrating both Steph and her birthday in school today AND I JUST HAD TO MISS IT, DARN. Lucky we celebrated for her in advance on Sunday. :) Here are some of the photos!

My knee is hurting so badly and I'm so lazy to walk round the house now. While on my way home today, I was limping down the stairs so slowly and there's another old man who was doing the same thing right beside me. It was so damn funny and embarrassing that I couldn't wait to walk home quickly. Okay it all happened during PE lesson when I was practising for my Standing Broad Jump. When I did my very first wonderful leap, my knee sort of cracked after landing. Yeah laugh, I JUST CAN'T JUMP FOR NUTS OKAY. But lucky me, I jumped past the 230cm line still. Finally!
Oh well. School's been tiring me out these days. :( Glad that my friends are loud enough to keep me awake. (HAHA WHO ELSE BUT YOU TWO) Seriously their screams can bring the whole school down. HAHAHA. Anyway, we accompanied Alicia to town the past two days to get her retainers and braces off. Now she totally qualify to advertise for Darlie toothpaste. :D
 
Oh yeah Chem test today was a total disaster. I better get everything right before Prelims! And I think my English really suck as well. You can easily spot any grammar mistake from my posts. OK JUST DON'T EXPECT MUCH FROM A C5 ENGLISH STUDENT. HA.
Oh man why am I having dinner so late everyday. Gotta eat, bye!

It's amazing how different songs can relate well to a person. When you're feeling sad, happy or angry, listening to some songs does help to adjust one's thoughts and feelings. I was talking to Jiayan earlier on and I realised that some things are really beyond our control. It's just a phase in our life that we have to experience and go through. Instead of staying put from the point where you're left alone, we should learn to move forward and overcome everything that is haunting us and going against our way. The process might be arduous, but I'm sure it will make us a better and stronger person. :)
On a side note, I can't wait to go back to school tmr! Seriously it's so much better in school than staying at home the whole day which is kind of suffocating me. At least I have the company there.

I've not been myself these few days. There are just too many things on my mind. Yesterday's PE lesson was running as usual and I did not dread it like how I used to. Instead, it made me feel a lot better. Every lap i ran, my mind was just focused on the finishing point and nothing else. My mind was free, and everything that was bothering me seemed to be gone at that point of time. FELT SO DAMN GOOD FOR THE FIRST TIME. :)
Not to mention the study session with Alicia, Jiayan, Raymond and Vanessa as well. Our lunch was good cos we had this FREE FLOW OF DRINKS AND ICE CREAM. I'm so proud I made root beer float myself but the ice cream looked like a pathetic yolk drowning into a pool of bubbles. I guess Vanessa was probably jealous of me cos her coffee was so bad that it still tasted bitter after adding two packets of sugar. :D Anyway, I managed to finish my homework despite the time spent on talking, psp-ing and taking photos. Lazy to post all of them so here's only one!  School wouldn't be fun without you guys! And I'm really glad I met up with Waeting today. Realised I haven't met her for lunch together since two months ago?! We basically just spent hours chatting randomly over lunch. :) Hope to see the rest soon. It's been ages! Okay I'm off to have my late dinner again. MY STOMACH'S GONNA ROT IF I CONTINUE LIK E THIS EVERYDAY. I've fallen, but I will stand up strong. |

Okay, I'm neglecting my blogger site while updating here.
I guess I'm liking the simplicity of LiveJournal. Wondering if I should move it here?
Anyway, school had been the same just that we got back our mid year results some time ago. I failed all my subjects this time round. :( Was kinda upset over it (Which explains my post earlier on) but I guess the only way now is to start preparing for prelims which is in 6 weeks time? OH YEAH MY PARENTS STILL DON"T KNOW ABOUT MY RESULTS YET DAMN IT YES. I think I'm telling them later! @&#*@(!)*
Oh well, I should blog about today before my parents come back.
Watched the Haunting In Connecticut with Alicia, Raymond, Jiayan and Vanessa in town after school. Those people dragged me along so I did not have a choice. The sound effects were seriously freaking me out back then but we discovered a rather sad story behind the movie at the end. Even Alicia cried but I don't really understand why. Hahaha. Just watch it if you want to know what I'm talking about.
Oh yeah, I watched Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince last friday too and it was such a disappointment. Don't you think so? :(
Okay i better go now to have my dinner. It's 9pm already and I haven't had my dinner! I'M SO HUNGRY I CAN EAT THREE BOWLS OF RICE NOW. |
